Located on the prestigious Crown Estate in Surrey, this residential project was a showcase of precision joinery and timeless materiality. TECO was commissioned to deliver bespoke cabinetry and storage across key living areas including the bedroom suites, dressing room, kitchen, mudroom, cinema and private bowling alley.

Each piece was conceived to balance elegance and performance, using a curated palette of premium veneers, stained timbers and satin brass detailing. From statement islands to concealed refreshments stations, the result is a quietly luxurious interior that reflects both the ambition of the client and the architectural character of the home.

Detailing the joinery and material language

Across the home’s living spaces, TECO’s joinery blends timeless craftsmanship with modern functionality. In the kitchen, a traditionally made solid European oak frame in a bespoke stain is paired with curved banquet seating and an upholstered bench backrest in stained oak veneer, combining comfort with elegance. The mudroom offers practical sophistication, featuring built-in storage and a durable upholstered bench designed for everyday use. In the bedrooms and dressing room, TECO crafted a series of built-in wardrobes and freestanding furniture using Mundy veneer, Tabu figured sycamore, and quarter cut walnut. Each piece includes satin brass inlays, solid walnut frames, and brass handles, with custom features like a central island and dressing table complete with dedicated jewellery compartments. In the dining room, storage cabinetry in burnished quarter cut walnut veneer is elevated with refined satin brass detailing, bringing a warm, luxurious feel to the space.

Extending craftsmanship to functional spaces

The home’s leisure zone is equally striking, with a bespoke bowling alley and private cinema that reflect TECO’s mastery in specialist joinery. The bowling alley features European oak Milano doors by Surface Studio, a custom acoustic wall in solid oak, and integrated storage for balls and shoes—merging performance with visual appeal. In the private cinema, TECO designed a custom refreshments display, clad in linen-backed panels by Tektura, offering both elegance and practicality. These tailored entertainment spaces underscore the home’s commitment to quality, comfort and design excellence.
